Gravy Bowl Recap 2023

GPAC hosted the annual GPAC Gravy Bowl Invitational on the weekend of November 17-19. GPAC had a total of 148 swimmers attend our invitational and 144 GPAC swimmers achieving at least 1 New Best Time! Overall, GPAC had a total of 698 Best Times out of 934 Total Swims, coming out to 75% Best Times for GPAC as a whole! 

GPAC had four swimmers win the high point award for their age group. Anatolie Badila, 10, and AJ Gillespie, 10, tied for the award in the 10&U age group. Anatolie won three events and took third place in three others. Gillespie swam an impressive 11 event program and placed third in three events.

Marcela Dos Santos, 11, won 3 out of her 8 events, while achieving 6 New Best Times and a new SES qualifying time  in the 500 Freestyle.

Ian Malone, 15, won two out of his eight events but placed well enough in the others to score the high point win. Ian swam six new personal bests including a new ‘AAAA’ time. 

Logan Robinson, 17, raced to a new team record in the 200 IM, erasing his own previous mark set back in the spring.
