GPAC traveled to Tallahassee, Florida January 26-28 to compete in their last meet before the 2024 Southeastern Championships. GPAC had a total of 57 swimmers attend the meet, totaling 472 swims and achieving 211 best times- 45 % total best times for GPAC! 100% of the athletes who attended the meet achieved at least one personal best time.

Aliza Gardner, 10, won high point for her age group. Aliza swam nine personal best times and won 5 of her events. Aliza qualified for SES in three events and three bonus events.

GPAC had seven other swimmers win individual events at the meet. AJ Gillespie,10, winning 2 events, Lane Robinson ,11 with 8 events, Jordana Wright ,12, winning 4 events. Graeson Garcia ,14, and Jack Herbert 17,each won 1 event, Max Little ,16, won 2 events and Logan Robinson ,17, won 6 events.

Congratulations to Ben Ashford ,16, Amelia Ilnitskiy ,14, Allie Johnson ,7, Laliyah Roland ,10, and Justin Washburn ,12, for swimming best times in all their individual events over the weekend.

SES: Landon Garcia , AJ Gillespie , Jack Hebert , Amelia Ilnitskiy , Addison Lee , Max Little , Arthur Phillips, Anderson Saksa , Rowan Schwartz , Caroline Smith , Justin Washburn , Jordana Wright  and Nathan Yoon. 

Age Group Sectionals: Arthur Phillips and Jordana Wright.

Senior Sectionals: Max Little.

Congratulations to Logan Robinson who swam a  personal best time of 3:55.26 in the 400 IM and set a new GPAC team record.

This was a great meet for GPAC and gave our swimmers an opportunity to qualify for the championship meet. 2024 Southeastern Championships is coming up fast, February 15- 18th in Huntsville, Alabama. GPAC will be hosting Region IV Championships at UWF February 23-25th.
