ATAC Long Course Invitational Meet Recap

GPAC traveled to Tallahassee, Florida June 27th- June 29th for the ATAC Long Course Invitational. GPAC had a total of 31 swimmers attend the meet, totaling 215 swims and achieving 129 best times- 60% total best times for GPAC! 97% of the athletes who attended the meet achieved at least one personal best time.

Ava Walker (11), won high point for her age group. Ava swam seven personal best times and won her 50 Breaststroke.

Marcela Dos Santos(13) and Emma McLaughlin (13), tied for the 13-14 girls High Point award. Marcela swam personal best times in two events, securing an SES cut and a AAA time in the 100 Freestyle and placed first in 6 events. Emma McLaughlin swam personal best times in all seven of her events, placing 1st in two of those. Emma also achieved six BB times.

Audrey Turner (16), won High Point her 15-16 age group with two personal best swims and winning her 200 Breaststroke.

Nathan Yoon (15), won High Point for his 15-16 age group, with five personal best swims and three wins

GPAC had eight other swimmers win individual events at the meet. Addison Adams ( 11), Brandon Carney ( 16), Nikki Lypko ( 13), Maddox McKian ( 14), Lane Robinson ( 12), Rowan Schwartz ( 14), Caroline Smith ( 17) and Avery Witte ( 17).

Congratulations to Zoee Feemster ( 15), AJ Gillespie ( 12) Emma McLaughlin(13), Mason Shiueh ( 12), Clark Thompson ( 10), Benson Whiteman ( 10), Grayson Whiteman (10), Sophia Whiteman ( 14) and Bailey Yoon ( 10) for swimming best times in all their individual events over the weekend. 

Several swimmers posted new Southeastern (SES) Championship

SES: Nicholas Lypko (13) 200 BR and 400 FR, Maddox McKian ( 14) in the 200 BR and Bailey Yoon (10) in the 50 and 100 BR.
