GPAC traveled to Huntsville, Alabama for the 2026 Short Course Southeastern Championships from February 27^th to March 1st. GPAC had a total of 31 swimmers participate in our SES Championship meet with 28 of them achieving at least one new best time. GPAC accumulated 77 best times out of 140 total swims: coming out to 55% best times across the team. GPAC finished the Short Course Championship weekend by placing 8th overall with 606.50 points.

Congratulations to the 2026 Southeastern Winter Short Course Champs Taylor Clements (17) and Ian Malone (18). Taylor earned 7^th place in the 15 and over women’s division scoring 85 points and claimed the top spot in the 50 FR and 50 BR. Ian Malone earned 5^th place in the 15 and over men’s division, scoring 79.5 points winning the 100 & 200 FR events.

13 and over swimmers who placed top 16: Lauren Armstrong (18), Taylor Clements (17), Isla Fox (14), Landon Garcia (17), Amelia Ilnitskiy (16), Nicholas Lypko (14), Ian Malone (18), Arthur Phillips (14), Lane Robinson (13), Rowan Schwartz (15), Caroline Smith ( 17), Grace Walen ( 15), Justin Washburn (14) and Jordana Wright (14).
